The hotel is in a safe area near the saint paul metro stop. i requested a room on the second floor and received one! staff members were consistently kind and helpful. the bed was comfortable. The rooms are tiny.

accessing upper floors was tiring after each excursion. carrying bags up those stairs was awful.

breakfast included croissants, bread, yogurt, and coffee. jam was available alongside the baguettes. there were also pain au chocolat available each morning.

the staff was friendly, remembering guests by name or room number. they promptly switched to english when i spoke slowly. this made communication easy and efficient!

I stayed for a few nights and found some issues. the room was very small. storage was definitely lacking. There wasn't really a good place to put my luggage. also, i could hear a lot of noise from the hallway early in the morning (it made sleeping difficult).
